Inwood 3rd Preparedness booklet

This here is the booklet that was passed around at the Emergency prep fair in March (picture the front page printed on bright yellow card stock, it's so much more impressive that way). It's already out of date as far as ward leadership is concerned, and as they will continue changing rapidly, I suggest everyone visits the ward and stake website and fills in the new information.

You Hive to Bee Prepared

Some of you, like half, may remember way back in March when the Inwood 3rd ward held its Emergency Preparedness Extravaganza. Seriously, how many of you even lived here then? And how many of you who lived here came, and how many of you remember what we talked about? I salute both of you.

So, the point here is that we all need a refresher. And we're a chatty bunch, so why not make it a forum for discussion while we're at it? And not the kind of "discussion" we had when I was a Sunday School teacher. I mean no slack-jawed glassy-eyed contributions here. Okay, fine, go ahead if you want to. At least I can't see you this time. I mean I write something, you chime in. An idea here, a link there. And let's try to keep it all related.

Let's start with a simple question:

Do you have a 72 hour kit? And if the answer is no, will you pretty please get one together? (please say yes, please say yes)

If you don't have one but want one, but are paralyzed by feelings of confusion and dread, never fear, the preparedness bee is here. Just stay tuned and we'll walk you through it step by step.
